LEGOLAND annual pass or day ticket?
For families who live in Malaysia or Singapore. Prices from LEGOLAND Malaysia's own website, checked 24 Oct 2026.
The short answer
Going for 2 days or more? Look at the annual pass first. A Malaysia Family Pass is RM266 a person, less than 2 day tickets. A Singapore Family Pass is RM345, the same as 1 adult day ticket for all 3 parks.
- A day ticket lets you in once. Walk out at lunch and you can't come back that day.
- A pass lets you come back, as often as you like for 12 months. That includes the same day: no hand stamp, just scan your pass card again.
- Rain stops being a loss. Lightning closes the outdoor rides; with a pass, you just come back.
- Only 1 day at the Theme Park? The day ticket is cheaper than a Family Pass.

What 2 days cost a family of 4
Take 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 5 and 8. Day 1 is the Theme Park. Day 2 is the Water Park.
| How you pay | The sum | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Day tickets | Theme Park RM760 + Water Park RM556 | RM1,316 |
| Malaysia Family Pass | 4 × RM266 | RM1,064 |
| Singapore Family Pass | 4 × RM345 | RM1,380 |
Living in Malaysia, the passes save RM252 on the very first trip.
Living in Singapore, the passes cost RM64 more: RM16 a person. For that, you get 12 months instead of 2 days.
The real win: you can leave when the kids melt down
LEGOLAND's own FAQ says it plainly: Day tickets allow only one entry per day and multiple entries per day for Annual Passes.
(LEGOLAND FAQ) LEGOLAND told us by email that this works the same for the Family Passes.
The same FAQ says lightning closes the outdoor rides, and storms often come in the late afternoon or early evening. On a day ticket, that time is gone. On a pass, you go back tomorrow.
Our guess: with small kids, the midday heat is the hardest part. With a pass, you can go home for lunch and a nap, then come back for the evening.
Our advice: this only works if home is close. Afiniti Residences Medini is about 300 m from the gate. We run 6 homes there, so we are not neutral.
Before you buy: the rules that catch families out
- Buy online. The Family Pass prices are for online purchases only.
- Bring ID. You need it to collect the pass and every time you enter. Without it, a different price may apply.
- One pass each. Every family member needs their own.
- Check the closed days. The Theme Park is closed on Wednesdays. The Water Park is closed on Tuesdays.
- New passes only. The Family Pass price is not for renewals.
- Parking is free for pass holders.
When a day ticket is still the better buy
- Only 1 day, Theme Park only. An adult pays RM205 for the day, against RM266 or RM345 for a Family Pass.
- You live outside Malaysia and Singapore. The Family Pass prices are not for you, and the normal Annual Pass is RM549 an adult. Worth it only if you will come back within 12 months.
Questions families ask
Do pass holders get money off food?
Yes: 10% off food, drinks and shop buys, with no minimum spend. The 15% on one of LEGOLAND's pages was an old promotion that has ended; LEGOLAND confirmed 10% to us by email.
Can Singaporeans buy the RM266 Malaysia Family Pass?
No. The RM266 pass is for people living in Malaysia: citizens, PRs, and holders of long-term passes such as work, dependant or student passes. People living in Singapore buy the RM345 Singapore Family Pass. You show ID and papers when you collect the pass; without them, you pay the normal price.
Why does the annual pass price change?
It depends on the nationality you pick when you buy. The normal Triple-Park Annual Pass is RM345 adult / RM285 child for Malaysians, RM499 / RM429 for Singaporeans, and RM549 / RM479 for everyone else. The "From RM345" on the website is the Malaysian price. Confirmed by LEGOLAND Malaysia by email, 25 Oct 2026.
Is a child under 3 free?
Yes. Bring their ID or passport. In the Water Park, they must wear a swim nappy.
How long does the pass last?
Exchange your e-voucher at Guest Services within 6 months of buying. The pass then runs 12 months from that day.
How we checked
We read LEGOLAND Malaysia's ticket page and annual pass page, the Malaysia Family Pass and Singapore Family Pass rules, and the FAQ, on 24 Oct 2026. Where 2 pages disagreed, we emailed LEGOLAND, and their reply on 25 Oct 2026 is what you read above. Prices change, so check before you buy.
